About Us

The CBANH is a Not-For-Profit trade organization representing 23 of New Hampshire’s community banks. Our member banks cover New Hampshire from the Seacoast to the Ct. River to the Capitol and Lakes Regions and up into the Great North Woods. Our mission is to support the growth and strength of community banks serving individuals and businesses that live and work in New Hampshire.

To be a member of the CBANH member banks must be independently owned and managed, and have a banking office within the State of New Hampshire. The CBANH is the State Affiliate to the Independent Community Bankers Association which represents over 6000 community banks throughout the country.

The CBANH is operated through a board of seven directors and an executive director who are elected annually by the membership.
